摘要：The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) commends the U.S. Congress for passing the Policyholder Protection Act which was included in the omnibus spending bill. 

The NAIC has long supported legislation that would clarify state insurance regulators' authority to wall off insurance company assets within savings and loan holding companies in order to protect insurance consumers.
